Nicole Long
Hey guys! My name is Nicole, and I am in 11th grade. I love to write in the informative genre, as in writing articles that will teach students about a subject; however, I am the section editor of opinion based articles. My favorite movie has been and always will be Spirit; I just love the story-line! My hobbies include my love for writing, my extreme passion for nature photography, and I love to express creativity in many different ways. I am a nerd when it comes to school. I don't just enjoy being there, but I love homework as well (as long as I understand how to do it). Joining Journalism is a way for me to still write, as well as getting the chance to report and inform students about subjects of my choosing. It inspires me, just like this quote by Alfred Tennyson: “If I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I could walk forever in my garden.” After high school, I plan on going onto college for marine biology, while continuing my passion for photography, and expanding into underwater photography. In my future, I hope to publish some of my writing. However, for now, I just want to focus on my schoolwork and earn scholarships for college.
